Job Title: Ophthalmology Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Specialist to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical and surgical care to patients with a range of ophthalmic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert clinical and surgical care to patients with general ophthalmic conditions and cataract surgery
* Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with medical retina and retinal pathology
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
* Participate in teaching and training of junior staff

Requirements:

* Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice
* MRCOphth or equivalent
* Broad experience in the clinical and surgical management of general ophthalmic conditions and cataract surgery
* Broad experience in medical retina and the use of laser therapy for retinal pathology
