About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Risk Assessment Specialist to join our Cyber and Data Protection Team at Delt Shared Services Ltd. In this role, you will play a vital part in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) provisions and IT security controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits to assess compliance with DSPT and IT security requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, recommending improvements to enhance security and compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2-5 years of experience conducting IT audits or completing DSPT submissions for an NHS Trust.
  • Familiarity with UK GDPR, Cyber Essentials, and NHS security and data protection standards.
  • A strong understanding of data security and protection principles and regulatory compliance.

The estimated salary for this role is £31,750 - £36,250 per annum, depending on experience.
