This is an exciting opportunity to join Watford Community Housing and contribute to our company goals by delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services. You will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance surveyors, overseeing complex repairs, and ensuring excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing budgets, leading a multi-disciplined workforce, and demonstrating a sound commercial approach. Additionally, you will need to hold a UK driving license and maintain a satisfactory basic level DBS check.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage external contracts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee the procurement and management of repairs contracts, including scheduling and planning
- Lead and motivate a team of maintenance surveyors
- Investigate and respond to complaints within the repairs department

Requirements
- Management experience in property or maintenance setting
- Experience in managing budgets for responsive repairs
- Ability to lead and manage a multi-disciplined workforce
- Effective communication skills
- Proven track record of service improvement
- Sound knowledge of HSE policies and compliance
