Job Title: Head of Hard FM

Opus People Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Hard FM to join their team in Ipswich.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of professionals in the delivery of hard facilities management services, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and statutory compliance.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of water hygiene, asbestos management, and other key compliance areas, as well as a proven track record of leading teams and managing contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Manage and inspire the Hard FM team, providing clear direction and support to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Oversee the development, implementation, and management of PPM schedules to ensure all assets are maintained in line with best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Ensure timely and efficient response to all reactive maintenance requests, minimising downtime and disruption.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including water hygiene, asbestos management, and other statutory obligations.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, able to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
