We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker in Wiltshire. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and other complex needs.
About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with their daily living needs, including personal care, cooking, and accessing community activities. You will also work closely with our team to ensure that each individual receives the best possible care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and other complex needs with their daily living needs, including personal care and cooking.
- Assist individuals in accessing community activities and services, such as leisure centres and shops.
- Work closely with our team to ensure that each individual receives the best possible care and support.
- Record and report any incidents or concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Knowledge and experience of working with individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and other complex needs.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ongoing commitment to own personal development and training.
