Job Title: Night Healthcare Assistant

Xealthcare Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Healthcare Assistant to join our client's highly respected nursing home on a permanent, full-time contract.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Night Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality care and assistance to our residents. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Administer medication in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
  • Support residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility.
  • Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Requirements:
  • No requirement of NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, but it would be ideal.
  • Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Respect for privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
