Job Title: Pharmacy Informatics Officer

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Informatics Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with data reporting and associated tasks, as well as aiding with the operation, maintenance, and administration of multiple pharmacy computer systems, software, and hardware used across all sites.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Perform regular and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring high data quality at all times, and communicating any data quality issues to senior staff.
  2. Support the design, development, and implementation of data validation and quality assurance systems and methodologies, ensuring the integrity of data systems and reporting produced by the service.
  3. Work collaboratively with pharmacy teams to help develop and refine performance scorecards and dashboards.
  4. Manage and maintain registers of assets and asset locations.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice
  • Demonstrable experience of working with Informatics or Pharmacy computer systems
  • Knowledge of regulations and legislation relevant to Pharmacy services

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with pharmacy teams and other stakeholders. They will also have a strong understanding of pharmacy informatics and data management principles.
