Social Worker Support Specialist

The Social Worker Support and Safeguarding role is a critical position within the Northamptonshire Children's Trust, responsible for providing high-quality social work support to children and families. This involves managing complex caseloads, conducting assessments, and delivering interventions to ensure the welfare and safety of children and young people.
This role requires a strong desire to develop social work expertise and contribute to the Trust's improvement journey. As a Social Worker, you will be confident in your analysis and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage a diverse and complex caseload to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide social work support to children and families, including assessments, interventions, and case management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
- Contribute to the development of social work expertise within the Trust
- Participate in quality supervision and continuous professional development
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective service delivery
