About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Foxes Academy, a specialist college and training hotel for young people with learning disabilities. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of all furniture, fixtures, and fittings in all the bedrooms and public areas of Foxes Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily room checks to ensure correct items are placed in the rooms.
  • Ensure the welfare and comfort of our guests, providing a high level of service during their stay.
  • Assist and/or attend student and hotel events, such as graduations.
  • Supervise and control the laundry and domestic stock, ensuring all chemicals are securely locked away.
  • Prepare guest accommodation by the correct time and inspect before a guest is shown to their room.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on duty by being aware of Company policies relating to Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, RIDDOR, and COSHH.
  • Order equipment and products required for effective housekeeping and kitchen needs in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Customer-oriented and friendly.
  • Prioritization and time management skills.
  • Working quickly without compromising quality.
  • Experience in supporting in the care or education industry.
  • Desirable: an understanding of working with people with a disability.
  • Level 2 in English and Maths.
