About the Role

Priory Healthcare is seeking an experienced and qualified therapist to join our Outpatient therapy service at either Bristol Park Clinic or Bristol Hospital on site and remotely.

Main Responsibilities

We are a dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team who work with a wide variety of presentations to offer a range of therapeutic interventions to support treatment and recovery.

This position offers flexibility, allowing you to manage your own schedule and choose your preferred working hours. We're looking for a therapist who can skilfully conduct both in-person and remote sessions.

Our Services

Priory Hospital Bristol and Bristol Park Clinic are two sites offering high-quality outpatient treatment for individuals looking to improve their mental and emotional wellbeing.

Bristol Hospital (Stapleton, M32)

Our Grade II listed hospital building is set in extensive grounds, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the centre of Bristol, with free on-site parking. We offer 77 beds over seven wards, providing a wide range of services, including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute care, rehab and recovery. Our collaborative environment fosters opportunities to gain experience in various services.

Bristol Park Clinic (Aztec West)

Situated in the north of Bristol, near Bradley Stoke and Patchway. It is close to the M4, M5 motorways and the Almondsbury Interchange. The clinic is easily accessible by car, bus, and train, making it a convenient location for both staff and clients.

Job Requirements

Registration and Experience

Essential

Accreditation with BABCP / BACP / UKCP.

Desirable

Ideally holding a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an out-patient service, you would be able to demonstrate good relationship building both with clients and referrers, and be passionate in the therapy you offer.

The ideal candidate will have training in one of the following modalities:

  • EMDR
  • CBT
  • DBT
  • REBT

This role provides successful candidates with the opportunity to work on weekdays, evenings, or weekends, depending on their availability.
