About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant to support a young man with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, medication administration, and general social support to enable our client to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living activities
  • Administer medication as required
  • Accompany our client to appointments and social events
  • Provide general social support and companionship
  • Assist with household tasks and maintenance
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
