About the Role

LNT Care Developments, a leading purpose-built residential care home developer and constructor, is seeking an experienced Town Planner to join its thriving planning team based in Garforth, Leeds.

The successful candidate will have a background in either a private or public sector setting, working for a consultancy, local authority, developer, or land promoter, and will be responsible for managing planning project work in-house.

Key responsibilities will include initial site appraisals and evaluation, preparation of written reports and statements, and submission of all planning application documentation. The role will also involve meeting and negotiating with Planning Officers and other parties involved in the application process, as well as participating in Planning Committee and Appeal situations as required.

About You
  • At least 5 years of experience in a town planning role
  • High standards of written and verbal communication
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and a genuine team player
  • A keen interest in the full land and planning process
  • A full UK driving license
