Senior Forest Ranger

We are seeking an experienced Senior Forest Ranger to join our Ground Services Team at Center Parcs. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning natural environment, contributing to the management and maintenance of our forest landscape.

Salary: £14.18 per hour

The successful candidate will have the chance to oversee all aspects of forestry and estate work, including wildlife and biodiversity surveys. They will also support the Ground Services Manager in the effective management and supervision of the department.

HOURS OF WORK:

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Shifts will fall between 7am and 3:30pm. Weekends and on-call duties on a rota basis.

About You:

  • NVQ level 2 in one of the following: Horticulture, Forestry, Countryside Management or equivalent experience / prepared to undertake training.
  • Good knowledge of natural history and an interest in nature conservation.
  • Previous experience in the use of agricultural, forestry and horticultural machinery, along with a certified competency in use of pesticides.
  • A full manual driving licence, held for a minimum of 6 months.
