Job Title: Early Years Practitioner/Level 3

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Years Practitioner/Level 3 to join our team at James Hopkins Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to life-limited and life-threatened children and their families.

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner/Level 3, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5. You will work closely with the Play Leader to plan and deliver activities that promote health, growth, and development, while also supporting the emotional, social, and physical needs of the children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children aged 0-5, including personal care tasks and play activities.
  • Work closely with the Play Leader to plan and deliver activities that promote health, growth, and development.
  • Support the emotional, social, and physical needs of the children, including those with complex nursing needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of children's care and activities.
  • Contribute to the overall performance of the team by being a proactive and enthusiastic team member.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Early Years NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Treats all children, young people, and families with dignity, respect, and understanding.
  • Ability to work under supervision and recognize own limits.
  • Ability to work constructively within a team.
