Job Summary

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Trauma Liaison Nurse Specialist to join our team in Paediatric Orthopaedics. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in promoting and delivering excellent care to children with orthopaedic injuries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, organisation, and delivery of emergency care and treatment to patients admitted to the orthopaedic department.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation of patients for emergency/trauma surgery.
  • Attend and coordinate care in the fracture clinic.

Requirements

This is a Band 6 role, requiring the ability to work both autonomously and within the Paediatric Orthopaedic Multidisciplinary Team. You must have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of paediatric orthopaedic care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Arrangements
