We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Orthopaedic Team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with orthopaedic conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an acute clinical caseload, providing expert assessment and treatment to patients with orthopaedic conditions.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective delivery of services across our busy elective and trauma wards.
- Develop and implement clinical services and staff development programs to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Provide supervision and support to junior and support staff within the team.
- Deputise for the Team Lead as required.
- Excellent communication and assessment skills.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience of managing an acute clinical caseload.
- Desirable: experience in orthopaedics or a related field.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
