NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at Perth Royal Infirmary. As a key member of our Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal team, you will provide specialist physiotherapy intervention in Fracture/Virtual clinics, working closely with Consultant and medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide early intervention physiotherapy input to patients, triaging onward referrals to reduce the number of appointments required.
- Conduct comprehensive examinations of Trauma presentations, making complex clinical decisions to determine the appropriate pathway for patient diagnostics, therapy, or surgical interventions.
- Collaborate with APP and MSK Lead to develop and implement best practice/clinical guidelines/pathways and standards across Orthopaedics and general MSK presentations.
- Teach and mentor qualified and student staff, contributing to the development of the Physiotherapy Team.
- Registered with HCPC.
- Advanced level Musculoskeletal practitioner with demonstrable clinical skills/knowledge and a self-generated case load.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
