About the Role

NHS Scotland is committed to providing high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dedicated Therapy team.

As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will work closely with qualified AHP staff to deliver patient care and support the implementation of treatment plans. You will also be involved in the supervision and support of lower-grade staff to ensure efficient service delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of excellent patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care and support the implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of qualified AHP staff.
  • Support qualified AHP staff in the specialist clinical area, adhering to evidence-based protocols.
  • Supervise and support lower-grade staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of patient care principles and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to have a PVG Scheme membership/record and be able to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
