Learning Disabilities and Autism Team Leader

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Disabilities Nurse leader to contribute to our Corporate Nursing team's quality improvement journey, 'Getting to Good.'
The Lead Nurse for Learning Disabilities and Autism will act as the named lead, supporting the Executive lead and the Director of Nursing by leading and coordinating the implementation of key quality improvement projects, in line with best practice across adult and children's services.
This role is pivotal to creating and delivering our Learning Disability and Autism vision, developing and delivering a Learning Disability and Autism Charter, maintaining clinical standards of care, and implementing quality improvement, ensuring the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards are met and exceeded.
You will work closely with our Learning Disability Provider and key stakeholders across the Integrated Care System.
Main Duties of the JobTo provide specialist expert Learning Disabilities and Autism advice and support across the Trust, working in collaboration with the Deputy Director of Nursing to improve the care provided to patients with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, ensuring it is based on best practice.
