Support Worker for Person with ASD and Cerebral Palsy

Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and experienced support worker to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will work closely with a young adult with ASD and Cerebral Palsy, providing support and assistance in their daily life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks and mobility.
- Accompany the individual to activities and outings, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
- Develop and maintain a trusting relationship with the individual, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with the individual's personal assistant to ensure seamless support and care.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with ASD and Cerebral Palsy.
- Ability to drive and hold a valid driver's license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual's changing needs.
