Our client, Ashville Knight, is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to support their Residential Conveyancing team. This full-time role will be based in their Emsworth office, where you will work closely with fee earners on a diverse caseload of property files, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, shared equity/shared ownership, new homes, and part exchange. Your key responsibilities will include assisting fee earners with property matters, opening files, ordering property searches, dealing with ID/AML procedures, working directly with clients, drafting contract packs and client care letters, responding to Requisitions raised by the Land Registry, and sending title documents to lenders and clients. To succeed in this role, you will require at least 1 year of experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant in a Residential Property department in a law firm, strong secretarial and admin skills, a high level of attention to detail, and fast, accurate typing ability, ideally using digital audio systems. In return, you can expect a competitive salary, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm working hours, standard holiday entitlement, company pension, and a supportive work environment.
