Job Title: Building Performance Specialist

At DSV Road GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Performance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized building, performing various semi-skilled tasks, and assisting with duties involving carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC skills, and operation of power tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain offices, cubicles, conference rooms, restrooms, and other office spaces clean and in order.
  • Prepare conference rooms with coffee, drinks, and food as required.
  • Maintain storage areas in a neat and clean condition.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of exterior grounds, including bay areas, lobby entrances, and other areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles daily or as necessary.
  • Replace or refill water dispensers in warehouse and office areas daily or as needed.
  • Check office and warehouse lighting weekly and report outages to your supervisor.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including routine and long-term maintenance on building and equipment.
  • Operate various equipment, including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, and pallet jack, while adhering to basic safety guidelines.
  • Work overtime as dictated by business needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.
  • Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Current or prior MHE Certification.
Work Environment:

The employee will rarely be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
