About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor, working in a hybrid location. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather information about a person's disability or health condition.
  • Produce detailed reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of an NHS ambulance trust.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
