Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our People team at Connells Group. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class customer-focused Employee Relations service by providing specialist support and advice to colleagues throughout our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on how to approach difficult conversations and resolve employee relations-related queries.
- Work closely with the ER Advisory team and other ER Specialists to apply relevant employee relations approaches and solutions to provide clarity and support to our managers, business leaders, and teams.
- Consistently deliver a professional and proactive approach, enabling managers to achieve their objectives through coaching and the provision of ER advice that is prompt, persuasive, effective, and evaluates risk.
- Provide training to ER Advisors, being a role model and offering support and guidance where appropriate.
- Support changes to and/or the implementation of any new ER policies and procedures.
- Work in collaboration with our Group Organizational Change Team on Group-wide project implementation.
Requirements:
- Employee Relations case management experience, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, ill health, flexible working, redundancy, contractual changes, TUPE, and management of Employment Tribunal Claims.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
