Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our People team at Connells Group. As an ER Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering a first-class customer-focused Employee Relations service, providing specialist support and advice to colleagues throughout our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on how to approach difficult conversations and resolve conflicts.
  • Offer expert input on challenging cases, ensuring prompt, persuasive, and effective ER advice that evaluates risk.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for ER Advisors, serving as a role model and providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Support the implementation of new ER policies and procedures, working collaboratively with our Group Organizational Change Team.
  • Manage Employee Relations case management, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, ill health, flexible working, redundancy, contractual changes, TUPE, and Employment Tribunal Claims.

  • Proven experience in Employee Relations case management, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, ill health, flexible working, redundancy, contractual changes, TUPE, and Employment Tribunal Claims.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
