Job Title: Property Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at Command Recruitment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the maintenance of our estate agency properties, ensuring that all necessary repairs and maintenance are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend regular meetings with the Property Management Team to discuss ongoing projects and tasks.
  • Ensure that landlords fulfill their obligations to tenants, both in statute and under the tenancy agreement.
  • Account for any queries or discrepancies on accounts in a prompt and accurate manner.
  • Authorise only reasonable and justifiable expenses for repairs, ensuring that the landlord's responsibility is clearly understood.
  • Verify that all repairs are completed and invoiced correctly, with payments made promptly to contractors.
  • Ensure that all contractors instructed on behalf of the landlord are adequately qualified, insured, and have at least two satisfactory trade references.
  • Make decisions that do not put the company at risk of being sued by the landlord for negligence or mishandling of their funds.
  • Ensure that tenants fulfill their obligations as set out in the tenancy agreement.
  • Display relevant skills to identify and qualify landlord's and tenants' needs, ensuring that the company's Service Standards are met at all times.
  • Ensure that every property with a gas supply on the managed portfolio has a current and valid gas safety certificate.
Package
  • Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
  • Basic salary: £32,000-£35,000.
  • Optional Saturday work for an uplift in salary.
  • Paid holiday.
  • Company Pension Scheme.
