We are seeking a Property Administrator to join our team at Command Recruitment.

The Role

As a Property Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance of estate agency properties that are let. This includes organizing repairs and maintenance, as well as ensuring compliance with legal documentation such as gas certificates and EPCs.

This is a varied and interesting role where no two days are the same. You will be making decisions autonomously, so you must be quick thinking and have a good understanding of how to manage a property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend regular meetings with the Property Management Team
  • Ensure landlords carry out their obligations to tenants
  • Account for queries on accounts promptly and accurately
  • Authorise reasonable and justifiable expenses for repairs
  • Ensure repairs are completed and invoiced correctly
  • Verify contractors are qualified and insured
  • Ensure decisions do not put the company at risk of being sued
  • Ensure tenants fulfil their obligations under the tenancy agreement
  • Display relevant skills to identify and qualify landlord and tenant needs
  • Ensure all properties with a gas supply have a current and valid gas safety certificate

Package

  • Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm
  • £32,000-£35,000 Basic Salary
  • Optional Saturday for an uplift in salary
  • Paid holiday
  • Company pension scheme
