Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Cathode Technology Scientist to join our team at Integrals Power. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and synthesising advanced battery cathode materials, including LFP/LFMP.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement production technologies for cathode active materials.
  • Managing the existing nano-material pilot line and pCAM line, ensuring efficient operation and continuous improvement.
  • Creating a technology roadmap to drive business growth and meet customer demands.
  • Negotiating with equipment vendors and material suppliers to establish strategic partnerships.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in materials science or a related field, with experience in R&D projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and technical support expertise.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of battery technologies and materials, with a focus on cathode materials.
  • An advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in a relevant field.
  • Industrial experience in synthesis and development of cathode materials, including LFP/LFMP and pCAM.
  • Technical expertise in materials synthesis and processes, including calcination, washing, drying, filtering, and milling.
  • The ability to manage and prioritise activities in a fast-changing environment.
