Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Wood PLC. As a Senior Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control measures to prevent defects and errors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Inspection and Control: Conduct thorough inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Quality Assurance Planning: Develop and implement quality assurance plans to ensure that products and services meet customer requirements.
  • Quality Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Quality Metrics and Reporting: Collect and analyze quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer service, to ensure that quality issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality assurance, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as CSWIP 3.2 or radiographic interpretation certificate, are highly desirable.
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, with a strong background in inspection, testing, and quality control. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
