Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the execution of our preventive and corrective maintenance program, new installations, and certification of works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute maintenance activities for a small team of multi-skilled personnel, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct risk assessments of equipment maintenance task lists and ensure that they are always kept valid.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement maintenance strategies that maximize wrench time utilization.
  • Ensure that the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is up-to-date and accurate, containing the most current information regarding equipment data, spares, and maintenance man-hours.
  • Participate in audits of the mechanical and electrical plant rooms, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive local reviews of maintenance performance data, using published maintenance excellence KPI results to inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a strong understanding of statutory rules and regulations.
  • Time-served electrical apprenticeship and BS 2391 Inspection & Testing certification are essential.
  • Experience with pumps, HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, steam systems, and ancillary services, as well as building management systems and preventive maintenance systems.
  • Ability to read and understand P&ID's and electrical drawings.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
