This role is ideal for a time-served Electrician looking to move into a supervisory position or an Electrical Working Foreman seeking a new challenge with a main contractor.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the M & E / design team during the tendering process.
- Attend client meetings as required.
- Conduct electrical maintenance surveys on existing MSCP.
- Produce reports and costs for electrical maintenance works.
- Carry out maintenance works as needed.
- Change emergency lighting batteries.
- Perform emergency lighting testing.
- Conduct periodic testing.
- Write and issue RAMS for maintenance works.
- Attend sites and supervise maintenance & EOD work.
- Conduct site audits / sign offs for electrical installation works on new build projects and report to the site management team.
- Attend site meetings with M & E contractors as required.
- Monitor M & E progress on site and report to the site management team.
- Carry out M & E snagging reports and issue for rectification.
- Time-served electrical qualifications.
- NVQ Level or City & Guilds equivalent.
- 7671 – 18th Edition.
- City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing.
- 5 years industrial M & E contracting experience.
- 2 years industrial M & E supervision experience.
- Knowledge of contract programs and time frame planning.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and willing to challenge management in a constructive manner.
- Flexible and willing to learn.
- Willing to travel as required.
