We are looking for a Family Support Lead to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Family Support Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to social workers and ensuring that the needs of children and families are met.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social worker to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Coventry's children. As a Family Support Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to social workers
  • Ensuring that the needs of children and families are met
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW)
  • Social Work England registration
  • Experience in working with children and families in a statutory social care setting
  • Demonstrable experience in decision-making on case work from Children in Need to Permanency Planning, including Court Work
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £43,657 - £51,402 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits, including flexible working options, a guaranteed interview scheme for specific groups, and access to training and development opportunities.
