SEN Teaching Assistant

A SEN Teaching Assistant is required for a Long Term role at our client's specialist college in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting young people with complex difficulties and learning challenges, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning difficulties.
Job Description- To provide tailored support to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- To collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- To help manage challenging behaviours by employing positive reinforcement techniques.
- To encourage student independence and self-advocacy through skill-building activities.
We require the successful applicant to have experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting. They must also have current safeguarding training and an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Estimated Salary: £4,680 - £5,460 per annum based on a 40-hour week, dependent on qualifications and experience.
