We are seeking an experienced and visionary educational leader to take on the role of Principal at Arco Academy, a dynamic alternative provision school with a sports specialism in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of our school life, shaping our ethos and strategic direction, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance student outcomes and progress towards achieving our aims and objectives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, systems, and processes that ensure efficient school operations.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating high standards of professionalism, integrity, and leadership.
  • Mentor and support staff to achieve their full potential and contribute to school improvement.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring financial prudence and optimal use of premises and personnel.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and Advisory Board to develop strategic plans for expansion and improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications

We seek a seasoned educational professional with a strong track record of leadership, teaching, and curriculum management. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and parents. A degree in Education or a related field is essential, along with a recognized teaching qualification.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
