Job Title: Principal - Strategic Leader

Job Summary:

The British Academy of Jewellery is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal to lead our institution in its mission to provide exceptional education and training in the jewellery industry. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering our strategic vision, driving innovation, and ensuring the continued success and growth of our academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the academy, aligning with the Board of Directors' goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative educational programs and services that meet the evolving needs of the jewellery industry.
  • Oversee academic performance, curriculum design, and student outcomes, ensuring the academy remains at the forefront of jewellery education.
  • Lead and manage the Senior Management Team, ensuring all departments align with the academy's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safeguarding the welfare of staff and students.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience in senior leadership roles within the education sector, with a proven track record of managing change and driving success.
  • Experience in leadership roles within creative institutions, with a deep understanding of the jewellery industry and its educational needs.
  • Financial management expertise and the ability to lead an organisation through sound financial oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and stakeholders.
