About the Role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker with the CareTech Group, you will be working with young people aged 8-18 who have complex needs. Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality support and care, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.

You will be part of a strong, supportive team that shares a passion for delivering exceptional care. We are committed to creating a nurturing environment where young people can thrive. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include leading shifts, deputising for the Registered Manager, and ensuring the team is up-to-date with mandatory learning. You will also communicate with the on-site team, maintain accurate records, and contribute to team meetings. Additionally, you will provide support and care to the young people, encourage their education and social activities, and travel with them to school or college.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have a desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Previous senior experience in a Residential setting is highly desirable, but we welcome applications from those at the start of their journey. A DBS check and reference verification will be conducted in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice.
