Job Opportunity: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a multi-site business that prioritizes eco-conscious methods in the industry. As an engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects aimed at developing more efficient and sustainable methods for waste processing and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with production to optimize the use of site assets.
  • Ensure existing site equipment operates at peak efficiency to maximize benefits.
  • Contribute to the exploration of new manufacturing techniques.
  • Take initiative in enhancing energy and utilities efficiency to achieve cost savings, while meeting production demands.
  • Engage in cross-functional teamwork to maintain a consistent and adaptable approach to ongoing improvement.
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Follow the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) system diligently and punctually.
  • Fulfill all necessary statutory documentation requirements.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineering background.
  • Sound grasp of health and safety regulations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Experience in manufacturing or process operations, demonstrating proficiency in planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
  • Fault finding skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team and independently.
  • Highly motivated and willing to pursue additional personal development supported by the company.
