Salary: £42,132

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to achieve business goals and reduce costs.
  • Lead targeted Continuous Improvement activities to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the site Safety/COMAH team to develop and maintain manufacturing High Hazard Safe Systems of Work.
  • Drive and support Capital Expenditure & Business Critical projects by producing Technical Specifications and carrying out Factory Acceptance and Installed Article Testing.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in an engineering discipline (Science or Engineering degree, HNC or HND) or time served in an Engineering discipline.
  • Exposure to a medium/high volume manufacturing environment and ability to support manufacturing schedule adherence.
  • Capability to produce written/visual instructions and carry out fault diagnosis on production machinery and equipment.
