Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at BAE Systems. This role will involve working from customer and engineering drawings, data and documentation to carry out inspection, testing, validation, trouble-shooting and fault diagnosis of issues experienced in manufacturing processes.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus generous benefits including time off, discounts, green car and cycle to work schemes, share schemes and pension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work from customer and engineering drawings, data and documentation to carry out inspection, testing, validation, trouble-shooting and fault diagnosis of issues experienced in manufacturing processes.

• Develop specialist skills and knowledge in quality assurance, including industry-recognised qualifications equivalent to A Levels.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

• Support the development and maintenance of quality management systems and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Five+ GCSEs grade A*-C / 9-4, including English and maths, as well as a Science subject for engineering or technical roles.

• Industry-recognised qualifications equivalent to A Levels.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
