SEN Teaching Assistant Job Description
BeBee Professionals in Wakefield is seeking a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to support our inclusive learning programs. The successful candidate will work closely with SEN students to facilitate their educational and personal growth in a supportive learning environment. This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of the challenges faced by SEN students and the ability to implement individualized education plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist SEN students in classroom activities under the direction of the lead teacher.
  • Implement individualized education plans and monitor progress.
  • Support students with special needs to ensure they achieve their full potential.

Requirements:
  • A relevant certification or Associate's degree in Special Education.
  • Previous experience working with children with special needs.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by SEN students.
