Cadence Design Systems is a world leader in Electronic Design Automation tools, seeking talented CS, CS/EE or Physics undergraduates for internship positions. As a software developer in your penultimate year, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our flagship mixed-signal design automation platform, Virtuoso.


Your responsibilities will include developing process improvement utilities (Python) and prototypes of new features (C++). While experience with Linux, Python, EDA tools or electronic design is not essential, it would be a valuable asset.


We offer a salary of $20-$30 per hour and internships available for 3 to 6 months duration. Join our talented and highly experienced local team in our Edinburgh office and contribute to the success of a global organization.


The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Object Oriented Design, preferably in C++. Previous experience with EDA tools or electronic design is also beneficial but not essential.
