Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Systems Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. As an experienced electronics engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced electronics systems for scientific detectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new electronics designs using analogue and digital techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize detector systems for maximum speed and reliability.
  • Design PCBs using Altium and work within a team of electronics engineers.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in electronics design.
  • Broad knowledge of electronics; FPGA and VHDL skills are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with embedded C and software development is beneficial but not essential.
