Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated nurse to join our School Nursing Team in the South Buckinghamshire Area. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people in their homes and schools.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children, young people, and families, and will be able to demonstrate their ability to work within the scope of professional practice and use evidence-based practice. You will also have knowledge of the Health Visiting and School Nursing Service Delivery Model and current issues that can impact on professional practice.

Main Responsibilities

As a Community Staff Nurse, your main responsibilities will include undertaking child and family interventions, specifically with children and young people from 5-19 years, within both school and home environments. You will also be required to work as part of a multi-skilled team and will be expected to delegate tasks and supervise others.
