Job Title: Trials and Technical Support Advisor

Purpose of Role:

As a Trials and Technical Support Advisor, you will be responsible for managing product trials, collecting and analyzing data, and providing technical support services to customers. This includes installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trials: Set up, organize, and maintain product trial study documentation and guidelines. Collect, track, and analyze field trial data. Provide updates on trial progress tracking. Coordinate the ordering, dispatch, and tracking of trial materials as needed. Present trial results, including the preparation of reports and presentations. Liaise with product and technical teams to ensure appropriate methodology and testing tools are used for trial processes.
  • Service: Become a trusted advisor at site regarding wear components. Facilitate machine bucket inspections and provide reports on overall bucket performance. Provide gauging services and associated lip and GET condition monitoring reports. Identify GET components and provide detailed GET location maps.
  • Product Support: Provide education on products, installation, safe operation, and maintenance. Direct troubleshooting of ESCO equipment to the appropriate Product Manager.
  • Customer Support: Regular travel to site and provide quick response and solutions to immediate customer problems. Support the collection of data and analysis regarding Warranty issues. Actively identify sales opportunities when in contact with the customer.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Engineering, Mining, Science, Statistics, Bachelor's degree (or similar).
  • Heavy industry exposure around 3 years related experience.
  • Advanced Excel, including Macros (mandatory).
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background check (including a pre-employment medical).
