Job Title: Trials and Technical Support Advisor

Division: ESCO

Location: Welshpool, WA

Purpose of Role:

As a Trials and Technical Support Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing product trials, collecting and analyzing data, and providing technical support services to customers. Your responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining trial study documentation, coordinating trial materials, and presenting trial results to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trials: Set up and maintain trial study documentation, collect and track field trial data, and provide updates on trial progress.
  • Service: Facilitate machine bucket inspections, provide reports on bucket performance, and offer gauging services.
  • Product Support: Provide education on products, installation, safe operation, and maintenance, and direct troubleshooting to the appropriate Product Manager.
  • Customer Support: Regular travel to site to provide quick response and solutions to customer problems, and support with collection of data and analysis for warranty issues.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate commitment to zero harm behaviors in support of Weir's safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Engineering, Mining, Science, Statistics, Bachelor's degree (or similar).
  • Heavy industry exposure with 3 years related experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Macros.
