Procure to Pay Assistant Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procure to Pay Assistant to join our team at Selecta. As a key member of the finance team, you will support the Procure to Pay Manager in driving forward our procurement and payment processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate supplier master file data and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Preparing and managing accounts payable monthly reports, forecasts, accruals, prepayments, provisions, and stock adjustments.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams.
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the Procure to Pay Manager and Head of Shared Services as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a financial shared services or purchase ledger environment.
  • Ideal experience in FMCG with multiple clients.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and finance application systems, particularly M3, Cognos, and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively track and drive service performance using KPIs.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Benefits include a competitive pension scheme, life insurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
