About the Role
The Partnership Development Director will be responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies to create new partnerships in EMEA, primarily within Motorsport. This role will involve initiating, driving, and securing new business relationships and contracts, with a focus on reaching out to multiple industries and identifying potential business opportunities for brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong business presence across specific sectors
- Generate sales leads through maintaining and growing relationships with sport industry key players
- Analyse and understand each brand's target audiences, business objectives, and strategies to better sell Csm's capabilities and rights
- Target, build, and maintain strong senior-level relationships, ensuring that Csm is viewed as the agency of choice to meet and exceed expectations
- Provide the strategic basis for reaching out to prospective clients
- Take a leadership role in the development of proposals and presentations to these prospects
- Be a key player in driving new concept ideation and design processes to ensure Csm maintains its leadership position in the industry
- Be viewed as the agency who thinks outside the norm – show strategic differentiation in solutions
- Actively participate in the delivery of the company's credentials to win new business
- Identify revenue-generating opportunities with a focus on covering the broader Csm group
Requirements
- Substantial experience in a similar position with a proven record of success in an international partnership development environment, targeting a range of large companies across all sectors
- Proven results in initiating and driving new business relationships
- Prior agency and business development experience, including past success in managing brands that have made use of all marketing techniques, including event, digital, and brand marketing
- Extensive 'little black book' for prospective clients
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated empathy, and commitment to success, along with a proven ability to manage expectations
