About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Ty Cyfannol, a 23-bedded acute mental health unit serving the Caerphilly Borough. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality person-centred care to patients with mental health problems, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver assessment, treatment, and stabilisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised care to patients with mental health problems, including assessment, treatment, and stabilisation.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver care that meets the needs of patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement care plans that are tailored to the needs of each patient.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
  • Experience of working in an acute mental health setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
