About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical services to our patients, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for dispensing and issuing prescriptions, providing advice to patients and healthcare professionals, and working to improve the quality of our pharmacy services. You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in different areas of the pharmacy department, including dispensary, medicines management, medicines information, and aseptics.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician who is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and has previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy. You should have good communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. You will also need to be able to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills, and be willing to learn and develop new skills.
