Safety and Compliance Role

Quest North West Ltd, a well-established M&E Building Services provider, is seeking a dynamic professional to fill the role of Project HSQE Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing safety, health, and environmental (SHE) management systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the ongoing continuous development and implementation of the SHE management systems

• Ensure legal, regulatory, and other external requirements are translated into policy and standards

• Provide expert advice, tools, and information regarding current and evolving legislation, enabling informed decisions and choices for best practice

• Support directors in the design, deployment, and monitoring of the safety culture improvement program, focusing on human factors and behavioral safety

• Maintain external verification of systems and processes; ISO45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001

• Monitor and report on the continued validity and effectiveness of the SHE Management Systems

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications, such as NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK), Diploma in Occupational H&S Management, and internal auditor qualifications. Experience in providing SHE advice at a management level and establishing and managing H&S and Environmental Management Systems is also essential.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels

• Proficient in MS Office

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Driving licence is essential
